Hello club members.  My name is Ben.  I am considering club membership and I am planning to attend your next meeting at the Fairfax Fire Station.

I am flying a Hobbyzone Super Cub and a 70mm EDF F16.  I have realized that the F16 is too much plane to fly anywhere so I would like to check out your club.

If anyone is flying this weekend, I would like to come by the field and take a peak.

Thanks.

I usually don't fly until the weather is above 40 deg.  My fingers freeze, and the batteries are too cold.  It may be March until you see consistent attendance at the field.

I would love to see that F-16 fly!  How does it do on grass, or is it a hand launch?

It will land on short, clean grass.  It probably will have to be hand launched.  The thing needs like 75 to 100 feet of pavement to get off the ground because of the long CG Arm and slightly negative angle of attack on the ground.

I'm looking forward to spring to get it in the air more often.
