Become a Pilot

Dear all,

I am a newbie to this hoppy, but in love with it. I recently purchased a Wild Hawk to practice flying and also have been practising the simulator. I just bought a F-15 and a BlueRay 450 PE Heli yesterday. I would love to become a member and a RC Pilot. Please let me know how to sign up for it.

Hello Tuan, we would love to have you come out and join us at the flying field. Since our primary field is behind a locked gate, you will need to coordinate your visit with one of our new member liaison's (http://www.1nvrc.org/index.php/page,29.html). They can even provide flight instruction if you are interested.

Do you have an active AMA membership? If not, you'll need to become a member to join NVRC (https://www.modelaircraft.org/joinrenew.aspx).

Once you are ready to become a member you can download and print our membership form and send to Ken Bassett.

Let me know if you have any other questions or have trouble contacting one of our liaisons. Looking forward to seeing you at the field!

Hello Steve,

Thank you so much for your prompt response. Yes, I just recently became an AMA member. I also just email the new member liaison's to cordinate with them when and where to meet. I am filling out the NVARC application right now. I realized that Ken lives closed to me. Therefore, I just called him to drop off the application and the check. I am very interested in the club. Hopefully, I will meet you soon.
