I have just sent in the application and fees. I would like to join NVRC, I am currently a member of the FARM club but would like to have other flying field options. I will be staying a member of both clubs. I would like information on how to gain access to the field and also who to schedule a checkout flight from. I have only been able to fly once this year and just learned last year so total I have about 18 months experience.

Hello Chris and welcome! We'll be at the new Poplar Ford Park field this Saturday from 8:30 to dusk and should be able to check you out at that time. This field is currently only open 2 days a month, but we expect to have great participation at during these two days. The field at Ticonderoga Tree Farm is open daily from 9-dusk, but it's behind a gate for which you should receive the combo for from Ken. Did you get your membership card yet?

Thanks for the response. I have not received the membership card yet, but then again I just mailed out the fees and application a couple days ago. This weekend I am booked and I already had plans to go to the FARM on Saturday morning.

I will make plans to come out the following week after I get the membership card.
