Air & Scare Family Night at NASM Udvar-Hazy Sat.,Oct. 23rd 2-8pm

Air and Scare is  October 23 ,from 2 PM till 8 PM at the Udvar-Hazy Air and space Museum.

This event is well attended by the public with 20,000 people attending last year. NVRC will have several tables with planes and brochures . We also will have several flight simulators available for the public. Volunteering for this event is enjoyable and gives the club great exposure. You will have time to see the Museum. Volunteers from our club will receive free parking and a meal. Entrance to the event for volunteers is the southern entrance. The  southern entrance to the museum  is on route 50 traveling west just past route 28. Peter Mesunis will help coordinate the event. If you plan on participating please send me your name and the make model and license plate number for your car by tuesday this week.

Yup if you can volunteer please do. You don't have to stay the whole day. Most of the time is spent talking to parents about R/C or helping the kids on the flight simulators. Parking is free for volunteers, so it's a great time to tour the museum and help out the club.
