Hey Bobby! Cool, I would love for you to have it. I'm going to get out sometime this weekend, and can try to get out there on Saturday if the weather is good, although maybe not for the entire event. Are you interested in the full package? I believe you saw it fly earlier this year but I would be happy to give a demo again if you would like.

General Category / For Sale / Wanted / [Sold] For Sale - Fliton Rogue - fun fly multiple winning bipe!

This Rogue has been a favorite of mine for some time due to it's easy 3-D capability and compact size, but now I'm clearing my hanger for some new additions. It climbs with authority, spins faster than you can see, and hovers and harriers very easily. It has proven to be a fun-fly winner on several occasions eventhough it has a tough time with the taxi race. I have a lot of flights on this plane but it still looks great. The bottom of the cowl is cracked but could be easily fixed if desired, and the landing gear plate needs some reinforcement (very easy fix) - but flight wise it is as good as new. It's fast so it actually flies very well in the wind given the size. Here's a link to my review post: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5421044&postcount=272 It is outfitted with the high-performance setup: 4 HS-55 servos, Hacker A30-16M Motor, CC Phoenix 35 Amp ESC. It takes a 3S 2100mAh LiPo and gets about 8 minutes per flight. If you already have a motor that will fit and ESC, I'll sell the plane with the servos installed for $90.$205 if you would like the plane complete ready for receiver (let me know if you would like the currently installed 72MHz Hitec Electron receiver and we can work a deal). As with any bipe there is some roll coupling, but I'll pass along my mixes to the buyer. Thanks, Steve

General Category / For Sale / Wanted / Sold - Micro Heli, Helimax Novus FP $50 (price reduced)

I am selling my Novus FP micro heli for $60. I have seen it flown at one of our indoor fly-ins by a more experience heli pilot, but I honestly have a tough time making the jump from my co-axle heli. The thin plastic body is cracked in a few spots but this doesn't effect flight performance. Let me know if you're up for the challenge. Paid $160 for it new a year ago, now they are a little less. http://www.helimax-rc.com/helis/novus/hmxe0802-novus-fp/
Includes everything that was part of original package, plus a newer battery.
Thanks Steve

General Category / For Sale / Wanted / Sold - Extreme Flight 45" Edge 540T

Ready to 3D? If you want to do the most impressive blenders, inverted flat spins, tumbles, or inverted harriers, this one is for you. I am selling my 45" Edge 540T by Extreme Flight to make room for my next project. This is a beautiful and excellent flying 3D plane I purchased in 2007. The small size makes it easily transportable and batteries are reasonably priced, yet it flies like a much larger plane due to the low wing loading and high torque/low KV (RPM) motor. I've always flown this with a 3S 2200mAh LiPo (8 minute flight), but it makes for a slightly tail heavy setup, so I would recommend a slightly higher capacity 3S LiPo to bring the CG more forward.
The plane is outfitted with the manufacturer recommended high-performance setup: 4 HS-65 servos; Torque 2818/900 motor; Air Boss 45 Amp ESC.
I'm willing to sell the plane at various levels of outfitting: - Ready for receiver and battery: $260 Note that this does not include receiver or battery. If you would like the currently installed 72MHz Hitec Electron receiver and/or a flight battery to be included let me know and we can work a deal. - Plane, Motor, and ESC: $195 - Plane and Motor: $130
A review of this plane can be found here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=689021
Both attached pictures are of the actual plane for sale, note that the canopy is now tinted. Thanks Steve

Hi Bobby - If you put in a battery with a low C rating, you'll exceed the capability of the battery which can cause any or all of these things: low voltage cut-off will be achieved so the ESC will shut off the motor; you'll kill the pack; and your power will suffer. I would get the largest Amp draw rating ("C") you can get just to ensure you're battery isn't limiting the power. A 20C pack can only deliver 20 times the Amperage of the pack. So a 20C 3000mAh pack can deliver a burst of (20*3A) 60 Amps which is what your ESC is rated at, but a 30C pack gives you some margin. Considering that the C ratings are often over stated and you don't want to hit the C rating, I recommend using the highest possible C rating unless you're putting in a battery that has a much larger capacity than you really needed (meaning that you can get more than a 20 minute flight). Also, the larger the C rating the lower the internal resistance of the battery so in theory the voltage shouldn't drop as fast when a load is applied. Steve
