I just dropped the check for 110 in the mail with the form and ama card . I hope I'll be good for sunday. That way there is no probs with me not paying yet and being a member.
Now thats what I'm talkin about this s a real club. ok I'll be there sunday. I will bring Asskickinchicken (p-40) with me. I'll get ahold of Ken Bassett too. Thanks for your help I hope I run into you there.
The simulator I am using is ClearView. It is new looks good , works good. Someone already made a plane for the p-40 and I downloaded it. Your right well atleast on the sim it was completely different. It even had the rudder being bent right (natural for plane). I had to adjust on tx. and slide over to keep it straight. I question the speed of the game but physics of speed , grav, and weight seem pretty good. I hear the software needs a lot of power . I get 960 fps on it. But I have 2 hd4870 vid cards. Are these simulators worth grading at the level true flying physics? Is it much harder than by computer?
Thank you for the advise I kinda wondered if there was a big difference in trainer and an actual war plane to actually fly. I tell ya what I got a smashing price on this plane. I do want to actually see it fly. But ill trade up for some one with a fit plane I can actually use for a while. I have extra parts that came with it like wings with retracts and stuff . How long does it particularly take to become intermediate. I have become pretty decent on PC so far.
I'm new to the R/C hobby. I have recently purchased a 56" P-40 with a .56 saito. I have a 72mhz.tx/rx .There is a RAm glow starter thingy that needs hooked up to. the guy said I needed a y cable for servo to get it going. Dunno .. Can I start plane with out RAM and with an electric starter? and No experience flying what so ever. I am a member to AMA. I just never put plane in the air I am in dumfries va and there are 4 clubs 20 miles from me in all 4 directions. Kinda good kinda bad.But anyway would you mind maybe pick a day where I could meet someone on the field and show you my p-40 and tell me if it is worthy before i even attempt to fly? If the plane is fit i will join your club for sure. I have been doing many hours on flight simulators. clear view has a model for my plane so I kinda have an idea about its characteristics. I dont even know what fuel to buy. If you have some and want to sell it or know what I need I can bring it with me. I am a good guy business owner and can offer the club good benefits.
