The West Potomac High School Engineering Club is going to be hosting its first, and hopefully annual, Indoor Fun Fly. This will take place on February 28th from 8:00AM to 2:00PM in the large gym at West Potomac High School. 6500 Quander Road, Alexandria, VA.

We are hoping for a family type event supported by attendance of the D.C. Maxecuters, Prince William County R/C Flyers and Northern Virginia Radio Control. We will have a Free-Flight, as well as an RC area. We are asking for a $5 entry fee for flyers, spectators are free. Part of the objective of this event it to introduce the hobby to students and adults of the community, as well you getting in some flight time to show off your flying and building skills.

We would like to have a static display area for larger models, so bring ‘em if you got em. The Engineering Club will also have a concession stand open for food. Official Fun Fly events will be coming as well get feedback from the clubs, which is requested. I would like any help getting this event going that people are willing to lend. The Burnett Field at Ticonderoga Farms is now officially open. Flight times are from 9am to Sundown posted on the bulletin board!
