Title: WRAM (Westchester, NY) Expo Pictures
Post by: tengler on February 26, 2010, 01:14:08 PM
I was able to go to the Westchester Radio Aero Modelers (RC Club) annual Expo last weekend, while visiting my brother who lives in Stamford. I picked up a good buy from their swap/auction area (a Otop Dream 110 Pattern plane with a YS 110 in it.) Here are some pictures of the event. The attendance was way down from previous years, due to the usual suspect; they say it is usually jammed elbow to elbow but not this year.

They had a full size 1914 WWI airplane there from the Rhinebeck Aerodrome collection where they fly some WWI full size replicas. Notice the grooved deflector for the bullet path on the propeller (before synchro.)

Some nice multi-cylinder engines on the Corsair and the Stearman in the static display area. Note the GPS in the cockpit!
